Classic Car – FAQ

  • Is the event rain-or-shine?
    • Yes!
    • Cancellation would only be considered if weather was forecasted to be a threat to public safety.
  • Can I register on the day of the event?
    • Yes! “Day of” Registration is available on Saturday from 8AM – 10AM.
  • How much is classic car registration? 
    • $10
  • If I’m a classic car owner, where do I go to check in?
    • All (pre-registered and day of) classic cars must start at Southern Delaware School of the Arts, 27 Hosier Street, in Selbyville. Volunteers will direct you to park, to avoid engine overheating, until you are ready to be parked for the festival on Church Street.
  • Can I leave early (before 2:30PM)?
    • For public safety reasons, we encourage all drivers to remain in their parking space until pedestrian traffic has cleared. Head to the Main Event Tent at Town Hall for the Awards Ceremony at 2pm!

Festival Guests – FAQ

  • Is the event rain-or-shine?
    • Yes!
    • Cancellation would only be considered if weather was forecasted to be a threat to public safety.
  • Is it free to attend?
    • Yes! Old Timers’ Day is free to attend.
    • Most festival activities are free!
      • Bring some cash for suggested donations, a chance to win a raffle prize, beer garden, food trucks.
  • Where can I park?
      • Church Street will be completely closed for pedestrian safety during the festival. There is plenty of street parking available in Selbyville on surrounding side streets.

        • Georgia House parking lot, 2 E. Church Street
        • The Next Step Learning Center parking lot, 2 W. Church Street
